Vehicle door, especially a motor vehicle door, comprises a bend-resistant impact support (5) arranged in the door and extending from a hinge-side region of the door to a lock-side region, and a hinge-side fixing device (6) for connecting a hinge-side support end region and a fixed support connection of a lock-side support end region to a door box part. The hinge-side fixing device consists of a pivot axis (8) perpendicular to the door surface and fixed to the door box part on which the impact support is pivotably mounted as a lever in an adjusting region. The hinge-side fixing device also has an adjusting device (9) with an adjusting element which is rigidly supported on a door box part and connected to the impact support for pivoting adjustment and pivot point fixing so that clamping and door alignment occur on pivoting adjustment of the impact support by the lever action via the lock-side fixed support connection (13).
