Impact beam for vehicle door

The invention relates to a motor vehicle door (2) with a hinge side (3) and an opposite latch side (4) as well as with an impact beam (5) which is arranged in the door (2) and extends between the hinge side (3) and the latch side (4). Furthermore, fastening devices (6, 7) are provided for fastening the impact beam ends to the door part (2). According to the invention, at least one fastening device comprises an eccentric adjustment element (6), whose eccentric axis (16) runs approximately transverse to the door plane and transverse to the impact beam (5), so that upon eccentric rotation the attachment point between the impact beam end and the associated door part (1) is positionally adjustable for door alignment within the scope of the eccentric offset (10). The adjusted position of the impact beam end and/or the eccentric adjustment is designed to be fixable.
