Apparatus and method in connection with a fuel injection system

The apparatus has a boost pump (1) comprising cylinder (6) and a piston (2) arranged so as to be rotatable along longitudinal axis with respect to the cylinder. A measurement unit (15) is arranged within the pump, to measure the pump temperature during monitoring of one-way valve of the outlet conduit (9) connected with pump chamber. An independent claim is also included for fuel injection method.
