Airbag for a vehicle occupant restraining system and process for its manufacture

An air bag (20), especially a side air bag, for a motor vehicle interior restraint system comprises two textile cuttings, each having four edge sections (22,32) with the fourth connected to the first and second. The third and fourth sections are divided into part sections by an imaginary center line and the part sections are brought together as appropriate. An Independent claim is also included for a production process for the above bag.
