Air conditiong device comprising a cold accumulating evaporator

An air-conditioning (1) unit for a motor vehicle comprises a cold medium circuit with a compressor and vaporizer (222,232) to cool the interior air. The air to be conditioned can be led through two channels (2) in the vaporizer each of which contains a fan (3a,b). An Independent claim is also included for a process to operate the above unit.
