Shock absorber assembly

The assembly (10) has shock absorber (40, 54) and a bolt (69) for adjusting the damping effect of the shock absorber. The bolt also adjusts the stiffness of the shock absorber. The assembly is mounted on an article e.g. agricultural equipment to be mounted on a vehicle e.g. tractor hitch. The shock absorber is positioned between a frame (14) and a lever (12) that is arranged to connect the frame to the hitch.
