Convertible vehicle with a retractable, foldable soft top

The rear part of the car (1) has a movable lid (2) to cover the compartment (3) for the folded flexible roof. It is situated in front of the luggage compartment lid and behind the backrest of the rear seat. There is a side portion (6) on either side of the centerline (4) of the car, fitting against the edge of the movable lid. A cutout (7) is filled by a small cover plate (8) mounted on a guide linkage.
