Headlamp comprising energy absorbing means

The headlamp has a shell (2) enclosing a light source. The shell is attached to the vehicle chassis (4) by a plastically deformable mountings (5), one at the top and one at the bottom of the headlamp, which absorb impact energy on the headlamp.
