Impedance arrangement to reduce a generator ripple

The electrical power generator (1) used to supply a road vehicle system connects with the vehicle battery (3) and the vehicle components (4). The output of the generator provides a three phase AC voltage that exhibits superimposed harmonics. These are attenuated by inclusion of a suitable impedance circuit consisting of a resistor (8) and a capacitor (7).
