A power supply device adapted for supplying electrical power to a load, comprises a first electrical generator (201) adapted for providing a first output current (301) having a first phase angle; at least a second electrical generator (202) adapted for providing a second output current (302) having a second phase angle independent of the first phase angle; and a combination unit (206) adapted for combining the first output current (301) and the second output current (302) to a combination current (306) having reduced harmonics with respect to the first and second output currents.
