Electronic distance warning system

The distance warning system has sensors on the rear of the vehicle for monitoring a given area. The system also has a control apparatus and means for wiring up the sensors and the control apparatus. The system is also provided with optical warning devices (1) arranged on at least one side, preferably both, of the vehicle, preferably near the rear of the vehicle.
