An electronic apparatus (100) comprises a display (103) and memory means (104) for storing map information. The electronic apparatus is adapted to determine the current position of the electronic apparatus, determine a speed vector (402) corresponding to the direction and speed of a movement of the electronic apparatus, and display position information based on the determined current position of the electronic apparatus on a map on the display, wherein the current position of the electronic apparatus is indicated (401) on the map. The electronic apparatus is further adapted to displace the position indication of the electronic apparatus on the display in a direction opposite to the speed vector by an amount corresponding to the speed vector.
