The vehicle light has an optical component in the form of a second optical conductor (34) arranged essentially behind a first optical conductor (20). The light coupled into the second optical conductor from a light source (38) on an end (36) facing the vehicle is coupled out (40) essentially transversely relative to its length so as to pass through the first optical conductor.
