Motor vehicle light

The lamp has a cover plate (6) overlapped on a recess (5) formed in a reflector (2) such that the plate is viewable from outside the lamp through a lens. A light source (4) e.g. LED, is arranged behind the plate such that the source is viewable by looking at a front side (7) of the reflector facing the lens. The light source is movable between two positions for obtaining first and second optical paths for performing first and second lighting functions. The light beams incident on the reflector in the two optical paths are reflected by the reflector from a lamp chamber (1) on the plate. The recess is formed as a lamp hole for retaining the light source.
