Transport assembly

The transport cover is for a gas cylinder used in a motor vehicle airbag with a gas generator (10) having a housing (16) with a gas discharge opening (18). The gas flow causes a reaction force on the housing. A removable cover (12) is attached to the housing to extend around the discharge opening and its opening (42) is arranged to neutralize the reaction force. The cover is retained by a plug in connection.
