Arrangement for controlling the operation of the pneumatic-suspension of a commercial vehicle with a steering front axle, a drive axle and at least one further axle comprises the following: a front axle load sensor (30); a control unit (32) that compares loading of the front axle with a minimum value to ensure the vehicle can be steered correctly and; a valve arrangement (22) controlled to adjust the air supply to the suspension system bellows so that there is always sufficient loading on the steering front axle. The invention also relates to a corresponding pneumatic suspension control system.
