Actuator

An actuator (10) for a motor vehicle has an electric motor (12) driving a planetary carrier (26) comprising central crown wheels (16,18) on the same side of the actuator. The planetary wheel pinions (20,22) turn about an axle (48) which is essentially radial to the drive shaft (32) axis (50).
