Electric wheel drive

An electric single-wheel drive mechanism has an electric motor (2), whose driven shaft (1) connects as a single piece to an inner central wheel (3) for a planetary gearing (4). An internal geared wheel (5) for the planetary gearing is kept torsionally firm. A planet carrier (9) forms a main drive pinion. The driven shaft has bearings (7) on one side in a casing (6) and bearings (8) on the other side in the planet carrier.
