The method for producing a cover material for vehicles, in particular, for vehicle seats out of a so-called wet blue raw leather involves drying (H1), crinkling or creasing (H2) in a container and finally dyeing (H3) of the latter by means of a liquid dye. An Independent claim is also included for a resultant cover material.
