Toroidal vessel, particularly for liquefied gas

The toroidal tank for pressurized gas has a valve plate (6) defined on a profiled section on the outer upper face. The profile forms a seating at an acute angle to the plane of the top face of the tank. The valve plate can have an inwardly extending pipe (7). The valve plate can support a safety valve.
