Airbag

The airbag comprises an outer cover (12) with an access opening (18), an inner bag (14) with a flow inlet opening (16) and at least one vent opening (22). The edge of the inlet opening is connected to the edge of the access opening, and the airbag in the region of the connection of the outer cover and inner bag has a constriction (20) for the inner bag. The inner bag in the collapsed state of the airbag is slipped inside the outer cover and during inflation of the airbag emerges from the cover via the access opening.
