Slide and rotary switch

The switch has an actuating element (1) that can be turned and moved along mutually perpendicular translation axes (18,19) and that interacts with at least one switch contact (30) carrying sliding switch element (16) to act on connection contacts (38). The sliding switch element has two switch elements (14,15) that are associated with translation axes and that can be displaced relative to each other.
