DRIVE
October 22, 2003
The height adjustment has a guide rail (1), a setting element (3) moved along the guide rail, supporting a mounting (5) for a seatbelt loop and a carriage upper part (4), having an operating element (8), displaced against an operating spring (9) for releasing a pivoted ratchet element (6) of the setting element, cooperating with a ratchet cog of the guide rail. The carriage upper part incorporates a spring (10) released upon activation of the seatbelt tensioning device, for reinforcing the action of the operating spring.
