An improved foldable sunshade for vehicles, consisting of an approximately rectangular shaped laminar body having a metallic coating on one of its sides, being subdivided into approximately rectangular cross-links having a rectangular perforation and two trapezoidal protrusions or flaps in the outer area, having slit lines permitting multiple folding of the general laminar body and having retaining means of the folded body forming a rectangular shaped parallelepiped.
