Air-intake conduit system for internal-combustion engines

The air intake duct for a motor vehicle internal combustion engine has two duct sections (52,54). There is a common duct section (52) connected to two separate passages (48,50) with two air inlet openings (60,62). The common duct section can pivot to vary the length of the intake duct.
