Socket for electrical connectors

The socket includes a housing (6) with a lid (2) covering an opening for a socket. A catch projecting part and a recess provided at the lid and the housing respectively lock the lid in its opening position. A lever mechanism locks the lid when a plug is inserted in the housing.
