Method of injecting fuel for an internal combustion engine having high sensibility injection and engine using such a method
DRIVE

The top face of the piston (22) has a bowl (26) with a central projection (28). The fuel jet angle (a1) is equal or less than 2Arctg(CD/2F) where CD is the cylinder diameter and F is the distance from the jet origin to the piston for a crankshaft angle of 50 degrees from top dead centre. The flow of fuel is thus coordinated with the bowl angles to give less pollution even at sensibilities higher than 380 mm3/30s and low loads An INDEPENDANT CLAIM is also included for : An internal combustion engine which uses the piston top profile and jet configuration
