Roof rack for a vehicle

The roof carrier system has two end sections (3) screwed to the roof from the outside and each with at least one cover made from anodized or powder coated aluminum. The end section has a base section to which the cover is fastened, and the base section has at least one fastening hole for fastening to the roof of the vehicle. The cover may be held on the base section by detachable clip-in or snap-in connection. The base section has a reinforcement formed in one piece with it or welded onto its inner side.
