Adjusting device for valve and flap devices in an internal combustion engine comprises a drive unit (A) consisting of a drive, especially an electromotor (1) with a drive shaft (2), arranged in a first housing (3), and a drive unit (B) arranged in a second housing (12) connected to the first and consisting of a transmission unit connected to the drive shaft and a bearing unit integrated in the second housing. The transmission unit has at least one radial driven shaft (10) and one axial driven shaft (11). The valve or flap devices are operated via the radial or the axial driven shaft. Preferred Features: The drive unit (B) is a standardized module designed with respect to size, shape and stability so that engine size and output of the drive can be freely selected.
