DRIVE
September 17, 2003
The device has a program memory significantly larger than required to ensure proper operation within the normal functional scope with data connectivity to a chip card reader (5) and microcontroller. At least part of the new program or additional program required for the new functionality is placed on a chip card and transferable via the chip card reader to the program memory. Enables a significant increase in functionality to be achieved in a particularly inexpensive manner.
