A vehicle (1) with a folding hard roof (10) is provided with a rear passenger space (20) between front and rear seats (4, 5) that is suitably expanded by turning a rear seatback (27, 27a, 27b) forward down and then moving the rear seatback backward so as to receive the folding hard roof (10) retracted therein.
