Mounting joint and procedure for mounting vehicle body parts

The mounting, to fasten vehicle bodywork parts (10), has at least one fastener to hold together at least two bodywork parts with a part (11) of the vehicle chassis. At least one bodywork part and one vehicle part are directly bonded together by the fastener, which lies within a component, e.g. a lateral carrier (14), with the required openings as passages for the mounting bolts (19).
