Vehicle roof

The vehicle roof structure, for automobiles and estate cars and the like, is a prefabricated roof module (9) with at least one outer roof sheet (10) and a lining (11) together with the corresponding roof rails (3). The openings in the roof module take the angled ends of the roof rails, to be secured to the bodywork pillars (4). The roof rails are secured to the roof module by an adhesive, solder, welding, bolts and similar mounting fasteners (12,13).
