Load levelling valve for keeping constant the height of a commercial vehicle with pneumatic suspension

Leveling valve (1) for automatically maintaining the height of a utility vehicle with pneumatic shock absorption has a housing (2) containing at least two plate-like valve elements (17, 18). A first plate-like valve element (17) is movably positioned in the housing by an adjusting drive detecting the vehicle height. The second plate-like valve element (18) is also movably positioned in the housing. An operating device (23, 24) moves the second plate-like valve element from a position corresponding to a first vehicle height into a position corresponding to a second vehicle height. Preferred Features: The first and/or the second plate-like valve element are linearly or rotatably guided in the housing. The two positions of the second plate-like valve element are secured in a force and/or form-locking manner.
