Transmission control device

A running program (R, D, N, 1, 2) is selected using the operating buttons, e.g. on the steering wheel, when stationary. This produces a signal causing gear change to a ratio corresponding with the selected running program. An Independent claim is included for corresponding gearbox equipment.
