Covering strip fastening device

Fixing device for a covering strip for a gap on a motor vehicle comprises a multipart holding body (13) for holding the covering strip and inserting in the gap. The holding body has a lower part (20) and an upper part (21) hinged together along a common longitudinal edge (22) over an axis of rotation running in the longitudinal direction of the gap. The angle of the upper part can be adjusted relative to the lower part via a device (24) in the transverse direction of the gap. Preferred Features: The lower part is connected to the upper part via a film hinge (28). The device is formed by at least one mutual snap-in toothed device (31) of the upper part and lower part. The snap-in toothed device is arranged a distance away from the axis of rotation (23) of the film hinge.
