Method includes : (1) measuring, in real time, actual values of cornering forces acting at center of each of front and rear wheels; (2) calculating, based on actions of driver, desired cornering forces, taking into account load transfers on both sides of mid plane of symmetry of vehicle; (3) comparing actual values and desired values of cornering forces. If both sets of values are not compatible, method involves acting on actuators so that actual values are brought into substantial compatibility with desired values of cornering forces.
