Device for damping pressure pulses in a fluid system, particularly in a fuel system of a combustion engine, and fuel system

DRIVE April 2, 2003
Source
The system for damping fluctuations in pressure in the fuel system (16) of an IC engine comprises a casing (36) containing two working chambers (40, 46). These are partially separated by movable diaphragms (42, 48) with a spring (52) mounted between. The second working chamber (48) is connected to the fuel system by a throttle valve (34). An Independent claim is included for a fuel system fitted with the damping system.
