Vehicle mass determination method taking into account different driving situations

The mass determination method uses evaluation of the automobile acceleration in conjunction with the drive force delivered by the drive unit and the resistance forces resulting from rotational forces, the air resistance, the roll resistance and the force resulting from the road inclination, determined via longitudinal acceleration sensors within the automobile or via an onboard navigation system.
