Parking brake device and control method

The stationary braking device has a pneumatically-operated braking cylinder (1) with a piston rod (3) for operation and release of drum or disc brakes and an associated braking actuator (8) with a rotary spindle (12), driven by an electric motor (10), having a self-locking thread for locking the piston rod position.
