A vehicle driving force control apparatus for a vehicle includes an actuating section to control a driving force of the vehicle so as to cause an actual vehicle speed of the vehicle to follow a target vehicle speed (EVSP). A target acceleration calculating section (41) calculates a target acceleration (tACC) in accordance with an accelerator input (APO). A target vehicle speed calculating section calculates a target vehicle speed from the target acceleration (tACC).
