Determination of height and pressure in spring elements, especially air springs, for vehicles

DRIVE March 26, 2003
Source
At least one first pressure-dependent measurement (6) is made. By means of the first measurement, the actual pressure is determined independently of a second measurement. At least one second measurement is made, and from it the actual spring (1) height is determined independently of the first measurement. Independent claims are included for a gas spring, especially an air spring, equipped to take the measurements described, and a vehicle including it.
