Mounting device for a turbomachine

The device has a foot supported on a base, and a connection element for the turbocharger. One or more bracing elements (36) engage on the turbocharger (10) to anchor it to the base (22). Each element has a free section (35) of a size to absorb forces occurring during operation. At least part of the free section is formed by a tension member (38). The tension member is solid or a wire cable, and consists of high temperature steel or nickel-based alloy.
