Passenger airbag module for a vehicle

The module has an airbag housing (1) with gas diffuser chamber (2) and airbag chamber (4), and a gas generator (3). Flow channels (8) for the compressed gas are formed inside the airbag chamber, along a housing wall (6), and are connected to the diffuser chamber, for preferred inflation of the airbag in a side ward direction (A). The housing walls are double-skinned, and have internal spacers, to form individual flow channels.
