One-piece rotating flap and rotary valve

The valve flap for shutting off the flow of exhaust gas through a pipe (2) comprises a disk (4) which rotates on a shaft (3). The disk and shaft are made in one piece, e.g. by sintering or forging. An Independent claim is included for a rotary valve incorporating the flap.
