In the event of a crash, to prevent the pedal (2), in particular a pedal (2) of a foot-operated parking brake, from migrating into the interior of the vehicle, a two-part pedal mount is provided, which consists of a fixed console (3) connected to a cockpit cross-member as well as a bearing element (4) pivotably arranged therein. The bearing element (4) is connected to the console (3) via an adjustment device (10) and a locking device (11), wherein the locking device (11) consists of hook-shaped elements (19, 19a) and the adjustment device (10) consists of a slot guide (20) of the bearing element guided on a bolt (21) of the console.
