Central console

The storage compartment is mounted in the central console (4) of a car. It is made up of separate upper (6) and lower (1) containers, with a common lid (3). A push button (14) attached to a vertical adjusting arm releases catches (12) on the lid and the upper container. An adjusting plate (15) which slides on the adjusting arm allows only one catch to be released.
