Convertible vehicles with a cover part in the rear vehicle area

The convertible (1) has a soft top (3) which can be stowed under a cover (6). The cover can move to allow the soft top to pass through an aperture (9) and also to give access to the boot (trunk). There is an auxiliary frame (10) under the cover, pivoted to the bodywork. It can turn about an axis (11) running transversely to the vehicle. This turning axis is in front of the rear end (7) of the cover.
