Intake system for combustion engine with crankcase ventilation
DRIVE
January 22, 2003
Intake device for an internal combustion engine with crankcase ventilation, wherein the crankcase gases are introduced into the interior space (18) of the intake device (10). This is accomplished via a channel structure (25) which, through multiple supply openings (27), ensures an essentially cylinder-selective introduction into individual intake ports (20a). This channel structure is formed by the wall of the intake manifold and sealed by a cover, so that the intake manifold can be manufactured in a cost-effective manner. The advantage is the realization of a uniform distribution result of crankcase gases to the cylinders while simultaneously offering the possibility of economical manufacturing.
