METHOD FOR OPERATING A COMBUSTION ENGINE AND DEVICE FOR EXECUTING THE METHOD

The invention relates to a method for operating an internal combustion engine (1), in which a pressurized gaseous fuel is introduced into a combustion chamber (5) of the internal combustion engine (1) directly or indirectly via an intake manifold (3) of an air supply intake tract (4) using a fuel injector (2). According to the invention, a control and/or leakage quantity of the fuel injector (2) is introduced via at least one line (6, 7, 8) into the intake tract (4), in particular into the intake manifold (3) of the intake tract (4). Furthermore, the invention relates to a device for carrying out the method.
